The Irish Georgian Society requests the pleasure of your company at the Somerset Club, where we will be joined by Laura Cavendish, Countess of Burlington, who is launching her new book, Lismore Castle: Food and Flowers from a Historic Irish Garden.

About the book:

Lady Burlington will speak about her new book, Lismore Castle: Food and Flowers from a Historic Irish Garden, which offers an intimate portrait of life at Lismore Castle through the lens of its gardens, kitchens, and changing seasons. Blending personal reflections with recipes, floral arrangements, and historical insights, the book celebrates the beauty and vitality of one of Ireland’s most storied estates. In her talk, Laura will explore the creative and cultural inspirations behind the book and the living heritage it seeks to share.
