Online Lecture
Established in 1795, the National Botanic Gardens has always been at the forefront of developments in Irish gardening, many of its directors being closely associated with country house owners and the plants they cultivated in their own demesnes. Dr. Matthew Jebb, the NBG’s dynamic director, will discuss these links with Robert O’Byrne and recount the evolution of the world-famous gardens for which he is responsible.
