Online Lecture
Renowned garden historian Finola Reid has been involved in the restoration of some of Ireland’s best-known country house gardens, not least those at Kylemore Abbey, County Galway. In recent years, she also oversaw bringing back to active use the old walled garden of Kilruddery, CountyWicklow, home to the Earls of Meath for the past 400 years. Finola will talk to Robert O’Byrne about some of the places in which she has been involved, and what gives Irish gardens their distinctive character.
